Healthy Wave PEMF Mat Review (2026): Prices + FDA

Research review: we have not tested this device ourselves. This review combines Healthy Wave's own current product pricing, its own FDA-status statement, and its own published warning about Amazon knockoffs, checked September 20, 2026.
Healthy Wave's own referral-program terms name the company behind the brand as "Innovative Ionizing Technologies Inc. (IIT)," and use "IIT" as the short form throughout the rest of that contract. The name does not appear on the public homepage, so the terms page is the only place we found it stated. Healthy Wave is a consumer infrared-PEMF mat brand with one of the widest product lines on this site: six named tiers spanning from a $129 soft mat to a $3,949 multi-therapy system. It is also one of the few brands we cover that puts a genuinely useful piece of buyer-protection content on its own site: a direct warning that its style of mat has been widely imitated, including on Amazon. This review covers the real price ladder, the brand's FDA-registration claim, and why Amazon is not the place to buy this particular product.
What Healthy Wave is
Healthy Wave sells combination infrared-and-PEMF mats, following the same general layering approach as HealthyLine (heat plus PEMF plus, on some lines, other therapy elements), across six named product lines that differ mainly in size, materials, and how many therapy modes are combined.

The spread within each line reflects mat size (small accessory mats up through queen/king full-body sizes), so the entry price for any given line is often a small targeted mat, not the full-body version most buyers picture. Confirm the exact size before comparing prices across lines.
Regulatory status: FDA registered, which is not the same as cleared
Healthy Wave's own homepage states its mats are "FDA registered as a Class II medical device." Be precise about what that means: FDA registration and listing is an administrative filing that a manufacturer completes with the FDA; it is not the same as an FDA 510(k) clearance, where the agency actually reviews the device and finds it substantially equivalent to an existing legally marketed one. Registration alone does not mean the FDA evaluated Healthy Wave's specific claims or tested the device. Important: Healthy Wave does not sell through Amazon, and says so
This is the most useful thing we found while researching this brand, and it is worth leading with rather than burying. Healthy Wave's own site has a page headed "Is the Healthy Wave Mat on Amazon?" whose first line is "We do not sell our Healthy Wave Mats on Amazon," and it lists the reasons to buy direct: a 90-day return period against Amazon's 30, an extended warranty, its own support staff, free mat covers, and a newsletter discount not available on Amazon. A rotating sidebar banner that appears across the site puts the same point more bluntly, in its "Not Sold on Ebay or Amazon" artwork. On a separate page comparing itself to knock-offs, Healthy Wave states that its style of infrared PEMF mat has spawned "dozens of imitations on the market now including on Amazon," and describes ordering one such imitation itself and finding real quality problems with it, while explicitly hedging that it "cannot be sure if any of these other mats have the same issues" (it only tested the one it bought). So if you see an Amazon listing presented as a Healthy Wave mat, the brand's own position is that it did not put it there.
One caution pointing the other way, and it is worth reading before you order direct. The brand's Trustpilot page carries a one-star account from a buyer whose account indicates they bought directly from Healthy Wave. The buyer complained of a strong chemical smell, says the mat arrived carrying another company's logo rather than the Healthy Wave name, and says they paid $110 to ship it back, after which about $140 for the original outbound shipping was taken out of their refund. That is one buyer's account of a direct purchase, not an Amazon one, so it is not evidence for the imitation warning above, and it cuts against reading "buy direct" as a guarantee. Read the return terms and confirm what is actually in the box before you commit, whichever way you buy.
Who a Healthy Wave mat is for
Good fit: you want a combination infrared-PEMF mat with a wide range of sizes and price points to choose from, you are comfortable buying direct from the brand's own site (which is the only channel the brand says it sells through), and you want a company that is unusually direct about a real style-imitation risk in its own category.
Look elsewhere if: you want a brand with a documented FDA 510(k) clearance rather than an FDA registration (see BEMER), or you want to buy the same category of product from a name you can also verify on Amazon (see OMI, which is genuinely available there).

Verdict
Healthy Wave is a legitimate, wide-ranging combination infrared-PEMF mat brand ($129 to $3,949 depending on line and size) that is unusually forthcoming about a real risk in its own product category: mats of a similar style sold under other branding, including on Amazon, one of which the company itself ordered and found had quality problems. The company's mats are FDA registered, which is an administrative filing, not an FDA clearance, so do not read more into that claim than it states. The brand sells only through its own site, so that is where to buy, but do not treat buying direct as a guarantee either: its Trustpilot page carries a one-star account of a direct order that arrived under another company's logo and cost the buyer shipping both ways to return.
